So I'm just getting started with blogging and I'm not even sure if I'll keep it up. I just want o give an overview of what it's like raising and breeding snakes. I want to discuss the care involved, how much time it takes and the joys of watching little heads poke out of their egg shells.
One of the things you must know is how many snakes and what kind of snakes I own and breed. To show the Gender and age of the snakes they will be listed as such:

And that's all the snakes! But one of the big things I do is raise the rodents for them to eat. Yep you guessed it, I've got hundreds of mice and rats to feed and water daily on top of feeding the snakes once a week and watering them twice a week.
It's also breeding season, which some of the snakes, like the Ball pythons are completely into while the others, the corn snakes, aren't so interested just yet. So far we've seen locks (mating) between the Pastel and 08 normal ball python and between the Spider and the(unknown) Female. The other females aren't big enough to breed this year so we'll keep feeding them until they can breed next year. We've also seen locks with the Male Butter and the Female Golddust and the Adult red tails. We have more pairings plans but we'll just have to wait and see how it turns out.
Well that's all for this bit. I'll post again tomorrow after feeding.
